Animal Exhibitor Checklist

*If you are going to show an animal project, the following items MUST be completed.

  • Parent of students attends a Tri-Club meeting and pays Tri-Club dues BEFORE Fall Registration.
  • Student and parent complete Tri-Club Fall Registration (will be online; opens October 22nd).
  • Student sells $50 worth of Showbook Ads- to be turned in DAY OF ANIMAL SELECTION (Ad form attached below)
  • Student attends Barn Cleanup Day and cleans out pen for animal (Date TBD)
  • FFA Dues are paid
  • FFA Member Handbook is signed and turned in
  • Barn Fees are paid
  • Barn Contract is signed and turned in
  • Gate Opener deposit is paid (Optional)

 

Tri-Club Fall Registration Information

If you plan to register for the Spring Livestock Show, please see the video below explaining how to use the online registration.  


The most important thing is to be sure you read any special instructions in the division you are registering for. The link for the online registration system is: https://springlsf.fairwire.com

We will have a computer at new parent day if anyone would like help. New parent day will be on October 22nd from 9-11 AM.  The online registration option will close at 11:59 PM on Saturday, October 22nd. 

If you have not attended a Spring Livestock Show meeting yet, you must attend either the next meeting, October 17th 7:00 PM or new parent day on October 22nd from 9-11 AM.

New Parent Day (Oct 22, 9-11am), and the regular Spring Livestock Show Meeting (Oct 17, 7 PM) will all be at the Portables at Nagy Pavilion. A parent MUST attend either the New Parent Day or Regular Meeting (if you haven't already  attended a Spring Livestock Show Meeting) in order for the registration to go through. We will also need the new buyer form, W-9, and Ad form turned in at your animal selection (lambs, goats, and pigs will be December 3rd). These forms are attached. 

The address for Nagy is the same as the Spring ISD Maintenance Dept, 24037 W Hardy Rd, Spring, TX 77373. It's on the corner of W Hardy and Lemm Rd 1. When you drive into the lot, the portables will be on your left.
